The SSS team has debated for a while about starting a blog to cover interesting news in the Cleantech area in addition to the exciting work that is going on behind the scenes at our labs in Fayetteville. A lot has been happening and we try very hard to keep our everyone updated. As we have met more and more folks in our travels across the nation, it has become increasingly challenging to provide everyone with up-to-date information. This blog is an attempt to make this news readily available to any and all who might find it interesting.
This decade is going to be an exciting one for Cleantech in general and there is a lot of great things happening in the Arkansas Cleantech space. We hope to provide a unique insight into all the happenings and we hope you find it useful!
Would like to know more about SSS employment.
Solar parks and solar iirnstdual and commercial buildings are all very well, but until households have solar power as a matter of course then the world won’t change much as far as the consumption of non-renewable energy resources go. There are now 6.9 billion people on earth, each of them in some kind of dwelling. It is there that the change must take place.
I don’t think you’re being naive. Solar eergny really is only a couple of years away from grid parity (and maybe already has achieved it in some places with lots of sun and high electricity prices (Arizona, etc ) After stalling for a few years, solar eergny prices have been dropping like crazy over the past couple of years. I can send you a couple of cool papers/graphs/charts about if you’re interested.
